Five years ago, to mark the changing of its name to Cashmere, Cottonelle launched The White Collection. The first 2 collections featured 100% cashmere (the fabric) designs by some of Canada’s leading designers. Expanding on the idea for its 2006 collection, the brand challenged student designers to create original garments out of Cashmere bathroom tissue. The Bathroom Tissue (BT) Collection, launched in 2007, saw eight of Montreal’s leading designers worke their magic with this challenging “fabric”.
The 2008 Collection premiered on September 19th. The White Cashmere Collection 2008: A Touch of Pink features amazing creations by Canadian designers who used both White AND Pink Cashmere, Canada’s first coloured bathroom tissue in a decade. Twenty-five cents from the sale of every package will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Check out the collection on Cashmere.ca or look at some of my favorites.
