Fred just found this article about Amazon giving public apologies

“This is an apology for the way we previously handled illegally sold copies of 1984 and other novels on Kindle. Our ’solution’ to the problem was stupid, thoughtless and painfully out of line with our principles. It is wholly self-inflicted and we deserve the criticism we’ve received.”

Isn’t this great? This is so simple, this triggers great press releases and ultimately I’m sure it strenghtens consumers’ relationships.

    This is the perfect example of how the digital revolution is impacting brands and business at large…brands have to behave like Amazon did in this situation-like decent human beings-or consumers will call them on it and eventually abandon them. I think this is good for everyone.
